Manito Park Holiday Lights begin tonight!



The Manito Holiday Lights are back this season and open tonight, December 9.
Drive-Thru Holiday Lights: Friday, December 9 through Monday, December 12, from 6-9:30pm.
Walk-Thru Holiday Lights: Tuesday, December 13 through Sunday, December 18, from 5-8pm.
For the drive-thru event, enter along 25th Ave and turn north on Tekoa St. or Manito Blvd.

Bing Crosby Holiday Film Festival this Saturday & Sunday



The Bing Crosby Advocates will bring back its popular Bing Crosby Holiday Film Festival in a two-day event this weekend at the Bing Crosby Theater.

This Saturday, December 10 from 11am-8pm, holiday films are:
11am - Doors open
Noon - White Christmas
2:45pm - Road to Utopia
5:30pm - Live music with Howard Crosby, Bing's nephew
7:00pm - White Christmas

On Sunday, December 11 from 11am-3pm, holiday films are:
11am - Doors open
Noon - Bells of St. Mary's
3:00pm - Sing You Sinners
5:45pm - Live music with the Zonky Jazz Band and Phil Crosby, Jr., featuring documentary film clips on Bing's life in Spokane and beyond.
7:00pm - Celtic Christmas Trio, 'Everdream' direct from Ireland, with special guest, Howard Crosby, Bing's nephew.

Spokane Symphony Holiday Pops December 17 & 18 at The Fox



Holiday music fills Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox when the Spokane Symphony presents their traditional Holiday Pops concert. The Spokane Symphony Chorale and the Spokane Area Youth Choirs perform, plus an audience carol singalong and a visit from dear old Santa Claus. James Lowe conducts. Make holiday memories with family and friends at this festive celebration.

Jake Shimabukuro coming to the Bing December 14



Acclaimed Hawaiian-born ukulele player Jake Shimabukuro is bringing his Christmas in Hawaii show to the Bing Crosby Theater on Wednesday, December 14 at 8pm. Jake, a virtuoso on the ukulele and composer known for his fast and complex finger work has been called by many 'the Jimi Hendrix of the ukulele'. His music combines elements of jazz, blues, funk, rock, bluegrass, classical, folk, and flamenco.

Art & Music at the MAC continue this Saturday



Explore American Impressionism to the accompaniment of two local jazz pianists in the MAC's main gallery this Saturday, December 10. From 12-2pm, hear composer, arranger, performer, music professor and Spokane Jazz Orchestra Music Director Don Goodwin. He'll also perform on Saturday, December 17. Beginning on Sunday, December 18, Riley Gray will play five more afternoons. Gray is also a teacher, composer and arranger and has performed with the Spokane Symphony, Spokane Jazz Orchestra, the Bob Curnow Big Band and more. Art & Music at the MAC will continue on December 20, 21, 22 & 23.

Christmas Tree Elegance continues through this Sunday



There are still a few more days to visit this year's Christmas Tree Elegance with holiday decorated trees and gifts at the Historic Davenport and second floor of River Park Square. This holiday event ends this Sunday, December 11. The $1 raffle tickets offer a chance to win a theme-decorated tree and prizes. Christmas Tree Elegance is a raffle produced by the Spokane Symphony Associates, a non-profit volunteer organization, whose mission is to raise funds to support the Spokane Symphony.

Winter Wonder Market continues this Saturday



Stop by the Winter Wonderland Market this Saturday, December 10 for fun and festive shopping, activities, live music and more. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to the Wishing Star Foundation. The Winter Wonderland Market will also be open next Saturday, December 17, hours are 10am-2pm.
