Christmas Tree Elegance underway!

Christmas Tree Elegance, produced by Spokane Symphony Associates to benefit the Spokane Symphony, is going on now through Sunday, December 11, at the Historic Davenport Hotel and River Park Square. This year marks Christmas Tree Elegance's 40th Anniversary, and it has become a grand holiday tradition in Spokane, as well as being a major fundraiser for the Spokane Symphony. Fifteen fabulously decorated trees and gifts, eight on the mezzanine of the Historic Davenport and seven on the second floor of River Park Square, will be available on display. A custom-made camper playhouse and a motorcycle are two of the 'over-the-top' gifts on trees that will help celebrate the Ruby Anniversary. The $1 raffle tickets offer a chance to win a theme-decorated tree and prizes which include gift certificates, items and cash valued up to $4,999 or a Father Christmas sculpture. In 2021, more than 430,000 of the $1 raffle tickets were sold to visitors who came from across the inland Northwest.

The Christmas Tree Elegance Holiday Luncheons will be held on Tuesday & Wednesday, December 6 & 7 in the Grand Pennington Ballroom at the Historic Davenport Hotel. Entertainment will be provided by Spokane Symphony Music Director James Lowe and a group of Symphony musicians playing 'Joyful Compositions.'
