DreamWorks Animation Exhibit continues at the MAC through September 11



DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition - Journey from Sketch to Screen is currently at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture in Browne's Addition and runs through Sunday, September 11. From the makers of Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon and Trolls, comes an extraordinary exhibition celebrating over 25 years of DreamWorks Animation. Appearing for the first time in the U.S., DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition - Journey from Sketch to Screen features over 350 items including rare and never-seen-before concept drawings, original artifacts, interactives, film clips, and more. The exhibition is divided into four key areas: Character, Story, World and the Drawing Room.

North Idaho State Fair continues through Sunday

Celebrating 100 years of fun, the North Idaho Fair continues through this Sunday, August 28 at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. Live music, fair food, Carnival, Monster Trucks, Rodeo, Demo Derby and more. Join in on the 100-year celebration!

Chicago coming to First Interstate Center August 31



Chicago, the legendary rock band with horns, is coming to the First Interstate Center for the Arts on Wednesday, August 31 at 7pm. Chicago was the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six consecutive decades and has sold over 40 million units in the U.S., with 23 gold, 18 platinum, and eight multi-platinum albums. 2022 will mark the band's 55th consecutive year of touring.

Outdoor Movie Night at the MAC tonight



Tonight, August 26, the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture presents the 1985 film The Goonies, to be shown on their outdoor amphitheater from 8-10pm. Watching The Goonies, you'll join Mikey and his friends as they seek out fabled treasure left by the pirate One-eyed Willy and his crew. Bring cushions, stadium seats, or blankets, but no lawn chairs. Cushions will also be available to rent for $2 each.

Greta Van Fleet coming to the Arena September 2



On the heels of their sold-out spring 2022 Dreams in Gold Tour, Grammy-award winning rock band Greta Van Fleet are coming to the Spokane Arena on Friday, September 2 at 7pm. Special guests The Pretty Reckless and Hannah Wicklund will open the show.
