Spokane Symphony Pops 3: Havana Nights this Saturday at The Fox



Take an exciting adventure through the passionate music of Cuba, Spain and Latin America with the Mambo Kings, America's foremost Latin jazz ensemble. The Spokane Symphony is joined by star soprano Camille Zamora for Pops 3: Havana Nights, this Saturday, May 21, 8pm at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. Morihiko Nakahara conducts.

Spokane Lilac Parade returns this Saturday



The Spokane Lilac Festival Association is returning to the streets of downtown Spokane this Saturday May 21 for the Armed Forces Torchlight Parade. Events include Cruzin' the Falls Car Show at the corner of Spokane Falls Blvd and Wall Street from 10am-5pm, Brewfest on Wall Street between Spokane Falls Blvd and Main Ave. from noon-5pm. Staging is from 6-7:15pm with Dignitaries, the 2022 Our Town Royal Court, and parade participants, staging along Washington Street north of the Washington/Stevens couplet in preparation of the 7:45pm parade start. Grand Parade Marshal is Colonel (Ret) John Marshall Groves, and Honorary Grand Parade Marshal is Justice Debra Stephens. Look to the clocktower around 7:30pm for a fly-over of a KC 135 from Fairchild Air Force Base to kick off the festivities. This year's parade features over 150 units.

2022 Stars on Ice Tour coming to the Arena May 27



Figure skating fans, get ready to see some of your favorite skaters from the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China, including gold medalist Nathan Chen, as the 2022 Stars on Ice Tour comes to the Spokane Arena on Friday, May 27 at 7:30pm. Other nationally known skaters include Alysa Liu, Jason Brown, Vincent Zhou, Madison Hubbell & Zachary Donohue, Madison Chock & Evan Bates, and Mirai Nagasu.

The 2022/23 NW BachFest season kicks off this weekend at Barrister Winery



Northwest BachFest's opening concerts of the season are this Saturday and Sunday, May 21 & 22 at Barrister Winery, 1213 W. Railroad Avenue in Spokane. This season celebrates Artistic Director Zuill Bailey's 10th Anniversary with Northwest BachFest. Community engagement activities and special events are being planned throughout the season. The new season begins with guest artists Chee-Yun Kim, violin, and Natasha Paremski, piano, joining Grammy-winning Zuill Bailey, cello, for two performances of duo, solo and trio selections including Beethoven, Chopin, Kodaly, Rachmaninoff, and more.

Nate Bargatze tonight at the Bing



Stand-up comedian Nate Bargatze is bringing his Raincheck Tour comedy show to Spokane tonight, May 20, with two performances at the Bing Crosby Theater at 7pm and 9:30pm. In 2020, Nate teamed up with All Things Comedy to release his popular weekly podcast, Nateland. He's had several specials on Netflix, one called The Tennessee Kid, which received rave reviews, and more recently, The Greatest Average American, release last year. Nate has had ten appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and has appeared on Conan four times, was a recurring guest on @midnight, and had his own Comedy Central Presents in 2011. Nate was featured as one of Esquire's 'Best New Comedians' by Jim Gaffigan.

Hamilton continues at First Interstate Center through this weekend



The smash hit HAMILTON continues at First Interstate Center for the Arts through this Sunday, May 22. Hamilton is the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton, based on Ron Chernow's acclaimed biography. With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda. The score features blends of hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway. Hamilton has won Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and a special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors. Final performances are today, May 20 at 7:30pm; Saturday, May 21 at 1pm & 7:30pm; and Sunday, May 22 at 1 & 7pm.

Wishbone Ash at the Bing this Saturday



The classic rock band of the late '60s and early '70s, Wishbone Ash, comes to Spokane this Saturday, May 21, 8pm at Bing Crosby Theater. The band produced a distinctive brand of melodic rock from the inspiration of British folk, American jazz, and R&B.
