Comedy Benefit for Sacred Heart Children's Hospital at the Bing April 22



The Finding Chemo Podcast, produced in Spokane, explores the lighter side of dealing with cancer. Hosted by veteran standup comedian and cancer warrior Nick Theisen, the podcast features doctors, caregivers, and those in the fight. In an effort to give back to our community, an evening of live, non-offensive comedy will be performed to benefit the Sacred Heart Children's Hospital. Featuring two nationally-touring comedians Rod Long and Geoff Young, and hosted by Nick Theisen and Eric Paine, the show promises a fun evening for a great cause, on Friday, April 22, 8pm at The Bing Crosby Theater.

Napoleon Dynamite - The Film & Conversation with the Stars, Saturday at The Fox



'Napoleon Dynamite': Movie & Conversation with Stars Jon Heder and Efren Ramirez is coming to Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox, this Saturday, April 16 at 7:30pm. After the movie is shown on the Fox's giant screen, local movie critic and host of Movies 101 on Spokane Public Radio, Nathan Weinbender, will moderate what is sure to be a lively chat with the stars.

Spokane Symphony Masterworks 7: 1001 Nights, April 23 & 24 at The Fox



The last Masterworks concert of the Spokane Symphony's 76th season is Masterworks 7: 1001 Nights, at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. Conducted by Music Director James Lowe with guest pianist Inon Barnatan and the Spokane Symphony Chorale, performances are Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24. Inon Barnatan, has been called "one of the most admired pianists of his generation" by The New York Times.

The concert features Alexander Borodin's Polovtsian Dances from Prince Igor, Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1, and Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade, Op. 35. Performances are 8pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday. Tickets available at www.foxtheaterspokane.org.

MasterWorks 7 comes with a free pre-concert 'LoweDown Talk' on Thursday, April 21 at noon at the MAC; a free piano master class open to the public on Friday, April 22; and 'Mimosas and Masterworks' on Saturday, April 23, a chance to watch the last rehearsal with a mimosa, pastries and coffee. Eric Church at the Arena this Saturday night



Eric Church in the Round: The Gather Again Tour makes a stop in Spokane at the Arena this Saturday, April 16 at 8pm. For the first time in his career, Church will adopt an in-the-round set up with the stage at the center of each arena floor to accommodate as many fans as possible.

Barrister Winery's Friday concerts continue and tonight, April 15 Stagecoach West performs at the winery, 1213 W Railroad Ave in downtown Spokane. Music begins at 7pm and seating opens at 5. NeedToBreathe at First Interstate Center April 24



Grammy Award-nominated Christian rock band NEEDTOBREATHE are bringing their intimate 'Into The Mystery Acoustic Tour' with Patrick Droney to First Interstate Center for the Arts on Sunday, April 24. NEEDTOBREATHE's latest studio album Into The Mystery debuted in the Top 10 across three Billboard charts and received praise from Rolling Stone, Billboard, People, American Songwriter, and more.
