Friday, March 18, 2022 Spokane Symphony Special: Carmina Burana - Saturday at The Fox
Be a part of the spectacle when the Spokane Symphony, conducted by Music Director James Lowe, and the Spokane Symphony Chorale perform Carl Orloff's Carmina Burana, this Saturday, March 19 at 8pm. Based on 24 poems from the medieval collection of the same name, the work explores life's delights, unpredictability and excesses. Soloists are Dawn Wolski, soprano, Aaron Agulay, baritone, and Christopher Pfund, tenor.

NW BachFest Spring Concerts this Saturday & Sunday at Barrister
Northwest BachFest Live closes out its 2021/22 season with two concerts at Barrister Winery, 1213 W. Railroad Avenue in Spokane. The first program is this Saturday, March 19 by guest artist Victor Santiago Asuncion, piano. The All-Chopin program features his four Ballades, the fourth of which is considered the epitome of romantic music. The remainder of the program is Chopin's four dramatic Scherzi. Northwest BachFest Artistic Director Zuill Bailey, cello, joins Asuncion for the second concert on Sunday, March 20 with a Cello/Piano Extravaganza with music of J. S. Bach, Debussy, Coleridge-Taylor and Brahms.

WICKED continues at First Interstate Center

WICKED, The Broadway sensation, looks at what happened in the Land of Oz, with the untold true story of the Witches of Oz. Spokane String Quartet performs Sunday at the Bing
The Spokane String Quartet has a special performance this Sunday, March 20 at the Bing Crosby Theater. Showtime is 3pm. The concert features: Jennifer Higdon: An Exaltation of Larks, Joseph Haydn: String Quartet in D Major, Op. 64 No. 5, 'The Lark', and Bedrich Smetana: String Quartet No. 1 in E Minor, 'From My Life'.
