Saturday, December 19 at 7pm.

The Hip Hop Nutcracker contemporary dance spectacle set to Tchaikovsky's timeless music, is available to stream for the First Interstate Center for the Arts audiences this holiday season. Spokane Symphony Associates to postpone Christmas Tree Elegance

The increasing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused the leadership of Christmas Tree Elegance to postpone the annual raffle of decorated trees and accompanying gifts that raises funds for the Spokane Symphony. The annual event that has been a Spokane holiday tradition for 38 years was to have been held from December 1-13 in River Park Square. It is produced by Spokane Symphony Associates, a 300-member volunteer organization. Last year's event raised over $400,000.

A decision about rescheduling the event will factor in the community health in relation to COVID and financial viability. At this time, the organization is hoping to reschedule for sometime in Spring or Summer of 2021. For more information, visit spokanesymphonyassoc.org.
