It's time to go to the movies!

The Spokane International Film Festival begins tonight with "Soundtrack for a Revolution", an up-tempo tour of the sixties through the music of the civil rights movement. Other films include "The Horse Boy", "Cow", "Pups" and "John Rabe". SpIFF also presents Horror Fest which is an annual celebration of the horror genre and a showcase of eight films that run the spectrum of horror to thriller to gore to supernatural. This unique, traveling film festival is the first of its kind on a national level. The Festival runs through February 7 and films will play at both the AMC Theaters downtown and The Magic Lantern Theatre. For more information, visit www.spokanefilmfestival.org.
