Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert with Spokane Symphony March 21 & 22



The first Star Wars movie--A New Hope--is coming to the Fox Theater on Saturday and Sunday, March 21 & 22. Watch the film on the big screen, with the full force of the Spokane Symphony playing John Williams' iconic score, live from the stage. It's Star Wars as you've never seen or heard it before! Performance times are 8pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox.

St. Patrick's Day Parade this Saturday



This Saturday, March 14, the streets of Spokane will be lined with every shade of green under the sun as the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick present the 42nd edition of our city's St. Patrick's Day Parade. Leading this year's entries will be the Grand Marshal, Matt Santangelo from Spokane Hoopfest.

Fab Four at the Bing this Friday



The Emmy Award Winning Fab Four - The Ultimate Beatles Tribute band will have a performance this Friday, March 13, 8pm and the Bing Crosby Theater. Their incredible stage performance includes three costume changes representing every era of the Beatles ever-changing career.

New exhibit opening at Art Spirit Gallery this Friday



This Friday, March 13 the Art Spirit Gallery, at 415 Sherman in downtown Coeur d'Alene, opens Cyclorama of Landscape, an exhibition by Gordon Wilson, Kathy Gale and Gonzaga Ceramics. There's an artists' reception from 5-8pm and the show runs through Saturday, April 4.

The Allman Betts Band coming to The Fox March 18



After a successful year touring as The Devon Allman Project with special guest Duane Betts, the sons of Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts have joined forces to form The Allman Betts Band. This tour features new music, songs from their solo projects, and classic Allman Brothers and Gregg Allman tunes in honor of the 50th anniversary of The Allman Brothers Band. Special guests are Marc Ford and Jackson Stokes. Performance is Wednesday, March 18 at 7:30pm.

Spokane Chiefs play this Friday and Saturday



It's a big hockey weekend at the Spokane Arena as the Chiefs take on Portland this Friday, March 13 and the Tri-Cities Saturday, March 14. The puck drops at 7:05 both nights.

NPR's David Folkenflik coming to the Bing March 31



Spokane Public Radio presents the multi-talented journalist David Folkenflik at the Bing Crosby Theater on Tuesday, March 31 at 7:30pm. Based in New York City, Folkenflik serves as both media correspondent for NPR News and the host of On Point Fridays. This will be an interesting evening of talk about the state of the media, reporting, NPR, hosting On Point, the upcoming election and more. SPR Program Director Doug Nadvornick will also moderate a Q & A session with Folkenflik.

Season 74 announcement party for Spokane Civic Theater tonight!

Mount Vesuvius Bash at the MAC Saturday

The Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture presents 'Mount Vesuvius Bash' this Saturday, March 14 from 6:30-10pm:

It was Friday, March 17, 1944 - St. Patrick's Day - when Italy's Mount Vesuvius last erupted. Allied forces, led by he U.S. Air Force, safely evacuated Pompeii area residents. This event will honor and celebrate the 1944 and includes live jazz and swing music, dancing with Spokane's Zonky Jazz Band. Visit Pompeii: The Immortal City and Mount St. Helens: Critical Memory exhibitions. Participate in a 1940s era best dressed costume contest. Mediterranean-inspired food and beverages for purchase.

Inland NW Motorcycle Show this weekend at the Fairgrounds

The 17th Annual Inland NW Motorcycle Show and Sale is this Friday through Sunday, March 13-15 to the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center. There will be hundreds of motorcycles and accessories, with all major brands represented. The Seattle Cossacks Stunt Show is held daily, beard & mustache competition, kids activities and indoor swap meet and more. Toyota will be giving away $100 gas card every two hours.

Dwight Yoakam coming to First Interstate Center September 20



Country music superstar Dwight Yoakam, makes an appearance in Spokane on Sunday, September 20, 7pm ad First Interstate Center for the Arts. Yoakam has sold has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, and he is a 21-time nominated, multiple Grammy Award winner, and is a recipient of the Artist of the Year award from the Americana Music Association, and was recently inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Brews for Bowser benefit this Thursday

This Thursday, March 12, you can drink a beer and save a life. The Spokane Humane Society is encouraging all beer drinkers and animal lovers to show their support and join them for their first 'Brews for Bowser' pint night on from 4pm-close at For the Love of God Brewing at 2617 W Northwest Blvd. For every pint purchased, For the Love of God Brewing will donate a $1 to the Spokane Humane Society.

Flatstick Pub - YMCA Fundraiser every Sunday in March



Flatstick Pub at 618 W. Main in downtown Spokane has selected the YMCA of the Inland Northwest as their charity of choice for the month of March.
