An Evening with Abigail Rockwell at the MAC Nov 7

A special event in conjunction with the current 'Norman Rockwell's America' exhibit at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, is 'An Evening with Abigail Rockwell' this Thursday, November 7 from 5:30-8:30pm. This will be a special evening of conversation and personal insight into the life and art of famous American artist and illustrator Norman Rockwell. Abigail is also editor and author of the recently re-released Norman Rockwell autobiography, 'My Adventures as an Illustrator: The Definitive Edition,' a book originally published in 1960 and ghostwritten by her father, Thomas. Back in print, the book features restored text and drawings, new illustrations, and an 11-page introduction written by Abigail which provides new information on her grandfather's life and work.

This program includes a reception and opportunity to view privately the Museum's Norman Rockwell's America exhibit and time to converse informally with Abigail, as well as a book-signing with her at the conclusion of her talk.
