It's Valleyfest weekend!



This is Valleyfest weekend at Mirabeau Point Park and CenterPlace Regional Event Center. It starts at 6:15 this Friday, September 20 with the Lions Club Bed Races and Hearts of Gold parade down East Sprague Avenue between North Gillis Road & Perrine Road. Then there's more fun for the whole family Saturday & Sunday, September 21-22.

Inland NW Opera presents Madame Butterfly at the Fox Sept 20 & 22



This classic opera, composed by Giacomo Puccini, featuring Elizabeth Caballero as Cio-Cio-San, Sandra Piques Eddy as Suzuki, Chad Shelton as Lt. Pinkerton, is the story of a young Japanese maiden, whose pride and honor are wounded by an American naval officer, and is left to heartbreak and tragedy.

Performances are this Friday, September 20 at 7:30pm and Sunday, September 22 at 2pm at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. A 30-minute pre-concert talk will begin one hour before the performance.

New exhibit at Art Spirit Gallery



The Art Spirit Gallery at 415 Sherman in downtown Coeur d'Alene presents sculptor Ben Joyce, ceramist Sean O'Connell, and poet/artist Neal Crosbie going on now through Saturday, October 5. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am-6pm.

Spokane Symphony presents: James Bond - The Music, Sept 28



The Music of James Bond, performed by the Spokane Symphony, is at Martin Woldson Theater at The Saturday, September 28. Broadway stars Hugh Panaro and Morgan James (pictured above) star in the show, Morihiko Nakahara conducts. The two dozen Bond films that span five decades include some of the greatest movie music in history. Dress up in Bond-style attire, and come early for a cocktail party and games.

Spokane Oktoberfest - next weekend



Spokane Oktoberfest, a traditional authentic German celebration returns to Spokane Valley CenterPlace for the 5th annual Spokane Oktoberfest with a community celebration of all things Bavarian. The weekend includes games, festivities, 2 stages, dancing, and plenty to eat and drink. Oktoberfest runs Friday through Sunday, September 27-29.

Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band make a stop at the Spokane Arena tomorrow, Thursday, September 19 at 7:30pm, as part of their Final Tour. The band is bringing all the hits and more on their Roll Me Away Tour.
