'Thursday Night Live' at the MAC



The MAC's 'Thursday Night Live' this Thursday, July 18 features local rock band Haley and the Hitchhikers in the outdoor amphitheater at 6, a lecture by Sasquatch expert Dr. Jeff Meldrum, complete with skulls, skeletal feet, footprint casts and replicas at 6:30, and, admission to the museum's exhibits, open until 9.

Vintage Spokane this Sunday at The Davenport Grand



This Sunday, July 21, Vintage Spokane returns for its eighth year and will be at the Davenport Grand Hotel. This year's festival will feature more than 60 wineries, a record 22 restaurants, beer and cocktail samples and more. Some of the many wineries include DeLille Cellars, L'Ecole No. 41, Maison Bleue, Maryhill Winery, Pambrun Winery, WIT Cellars, Woodward Canyon and more. And restaurants include James Beard Award winner Los Hernandez Tamales, DeLeon's Taco & Bar, Steam Plant Kitchen, Manito Taphouse, The Barrel Steak and Seafood House, Steelhead Bar and Grille, The Melting Pot of Spokane, and many others. In addition to food and wine tasting, the event will feature related exhibitors, and an on-site wine store where attendees can purchase their new favorite finds.

Pamela Benton plays at Audubon Park Thursday



Tomorrow night, Thursday, July 18 from 6:30-8:30 the amazingly talented guitar and violin artist Pamela Benton performs at Audubon Park, 3405 N Milton Avenue off Northwest Boulevard. All ages welcome.


WWII bombers coming to CdA Airport this weekend



Coeur d'Alene Airport is hosting the CDA Air Expo, 10am-6pm this Saturday and Sunday, July 20-21. Enjoy tours of historic World War II aircraft including the B-17 and B-25 bombers. There will also be family fun during the free-entry event like bounce castles, food, dancing divas and large equipment for all ages to check out. The cost is $15 per person or $25 per family.

Rides on the B-17 and B-25 bombers are available Friday-Sunday at the ramp off Citation Ave. Pricing for the B-17 ranges from $425 (per waist compartment seat) to $850 (per Bombardier/Navigator seat). Pricing for the B-25 ranges from $325 (per waist compartment seat) to $650 (per Jump seat). One more night of Mozart in the Park

Connoisseur Concerts' Mozart On A Summer's Eve will have another performance in Manito Park, tonight, Wednesday, July 17 at 7pm. Concert will be held East of the Duncan Gardens fountain. This year's program features the Wind Ensemble and Ann Fennessy, soprano, and Break of Reality, performing Classical Cello Rock.

Amos Lee coming to the Fox August 24

Tango Cowboys at the Rocket Market July 23



Next Tuesday, July 23 from 7:30-9:30pm, The Tango Cowboys play at The Rocket Market, 726 E 43rd (High Dr). They perform fun-loving music from America (North and South), specializing in vocal tangos and cowboy songs from the 1930s and 1940s and beyond.

Art on the Street this Saturday at Spokane Art School



Spokane Art School at 811 West Garland presents Art on the Street this Saturday, July 20 from 11am-2:30pm with Daniel Lopez demonstrating one of the hardest things to draw, the human hand. Giant 8' easels will be set up and covered with paper. The passing public will be encouraged to draw or paint on the blank paper.

Browne's Addition Summer Concerts in the Park

Enjoy the music of Brook Gannon Trio, this Thursday, July 18 in Coeur d'Alene Park in historic Browne's Addition. Free admission. Music runs from 6-8pm.

This Thursday, July 18, Bridges Home comes to Arbor Crest's Tasting Room stage, performing Americana, Celtic, and acoustic blues, both classics and originals. Music runs from 5:30-7:30, Admission is $6.

On Sunday, July 21, Sandpoint's own country performers, Devon Wade Band plays at the Cliff House Stage, from 5:30-8pm, admission is $12.
