The King and I coming to the Bing January 20



Stage to Screen: The King and I is a film of the actual play including a live audience. One of the best-loved Rogers and Hammerstein musicals of the Golden Age, The King and I tells the magical real-life story of Anna, the widowed schoolteacher who in 1862 comes halfway around the world from England to teach the court of the King of Siam, and ends up schooling the King himself.

With unforgettable songs like 'Shall we Dance,' 'Getting to Know You,' 'Hello, Young Lovers,' the poignant 'I Have Dreamed' and the optimistic 'Whistle a Happy Tune' this will be an enjoyable performance. At the Bing Crosby Theater, Sunday, January 20 at 2pm.

Spokane Symphony Classics 5 - Dvorak and Rachmaninoff

Spokane Symphony Concertmaster Mateusz Wolski will perform another great work from the violin repertoire: Dvorak's Violin Concerto and Rachmaninoff's choral ymphony, The Bells, loosely based on a poem by Edgar Allan Poe, is considered by many to be one of his great masterpieces. Eckart Preu conducts and guest performers include Soprano Dina Kuznetsova, Tenor Kirk Dougherty, Bass-Baritone Kerry Wilkerson, the Spokane Symphony Corale, and Eastern Washington University Symphonic Choir.

Monster Jam Triple Threat Series coming to the Arena January 25-27



Monster Jam returns to Spokane with a new level of four-wheel excitement. The Monster Jam Triple Threat Series will feature six different competitions of speed, racing and freestyle stunts at the Spokane Arena from Friday, January 25 through Sunday, January 27.

Featuring eight of the most intense athletes of Monster Jam, Spokane fans will witness a fierce battle for the championship with each Triple Threat Series competitor contending in customized high-powered vehicles: Monster Jam Speedsters, Monster Jam ATVs and the iconic Monster Jam trucks in six events that will leave fans on the edge of their seats. This year's event features the Spokane debut truck appearance with Soldier Fortune Black Ops.

Frank Caliendo coming to Northern Quest January 11



Frank Caliendo is a comedian and impressionist, best known for his work on the Fox Network television series MADtv and Fox NFL Sunday. His high-energy act combines a blend of anecdotal stories, observations and characters, including impressions of personalities like Donald Trump, Morgan Freeman, Robert DeNiro, Barack Obama, Dr. Phil and more.

Performance is this Friday, January 11 at 7:30pm, at the Pend Oreille Paveilion at Northern Quest. Tickets available at northernquest.com.
