Seattle Men's/Women's Choruses at the Bing Saturday

Browne's Addition Summer Concerts series to begin July 5



The 22st Annual Browne's Addition Concert Series, sponsored by the Browne's Addition Neighborhood Council, will present a wide variety of exciting musical groups on Thursdays in July and August from 6-8pm at the gazebo in the park. The series of free concerts will kick off this Thursday, July 5 with The Willows, a Peter, Paul and Mary tribute group.

Stay tuned for upcoming concert announcements. The concerts are free but donations will be collected at intermission to help offset the expenses.


4th of July fireworks in the sky and on the drag strip



Tomorrow, the 4th of July, at Spokane County Raceway, legendary drag race impresario Bill Doner presents the Nitro Fireworks Spectacular with the world's fastest heritage funny cars and nitro jets side by side. At 80, Doner, who is in the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame, is still going as strong as the dragsters he promotes. There's a huge fireworks display and rock music as well. Qualifying noon to 3pm, racing at 6. Tickets available at the gate.


Free concerts at Hotel RL at the Park



Hotel RL at the Park presents free concerts Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to 9pm all summer long. This Friday, July 6 it's Sara Brown and Saturday, July 7 enjoy Working Spliffs.


Crave NW begins July 12

In its second year, Crave is the Inland Northwest's premier food and drink event. It's July 12-15 at Spokane Valley's Center Place. On Friday, July 13, the wineries of the Cork District will partner with chefs and culinary professionals to create unique pairings for Foods from Around the World night. This is the one time this year that all Cork District wineries will be at one location.

This week's music at Manito Park Bench Cafe



The Park Bench Cafe in Manito Park continues its free Friday summer concert series and this Friday, July 6, Paul Grove performs from 6-8pm. Food, beverages and ice cream available for purchase.

Arbor Crest open this 4th of July!



Arbor Crest's Cliff House Estate tasting room is open thisWednesday, July 4 from noon-5pm. On Thursday, July 5, live music continues with Pamela & Taylor performing at the Tasting Room Stage, Artwork by Debbie McCulley will be on display. Music runs from 5:30-7:30, admission is $5.

On Sunday, July 8, Rhythm Dawgs perform at the Cliff House Stage, from 5:30-8pm, admission is $10. Wine, beer and food available for purchase.

Wallace Blues Festival July 13-15



The Historic Wallace Blues Festival is Friday, July 13 through Sunday, July 15, a great three day celebration with sixteen fabulous performers and bands on nine stages throughout Wallace's historic downtown.

Summer sports camps at the HUB



Plenty of sports camps are going on throughout the summer at the HUB Sports Center in Liberty Lake. Basketball, volleyball, soccer, cheerleading and Mini-Hawk camps designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in one setting.

Old World Christmas starts its Christmas in July sale at their Factory Outlet store, this Thursday, July 5, running through the month. Beautiful ornaments of all kinds are available below wholesale prices. The Factory Outlet store is located at 4005 E Main, between Freya and Havana. For ages 7-14, these classes give students the opportunity to spend time among sanctuary animals like goats, pigs, horses, and rabbits, while learning new art skills and exploring various mediums.

Spokane Indians baseball July 4-6 Homestand



The Spokane Indians are back at Avista Stadium for three games against the Tri-City Dust Devils starting on Wednesday, July 4.

Wednesday, July 4 is 4th of July Fireworks Night.

Thursday, July 5 more Fireworks. Catch another spectacular fireworks show after the game.

Friday, July 6 is Harry Potter Night. The first 500 kids 12 and under will receive a special Harry Potter Tote Bag, as well as a set of wizard glasses. Enjoy Harry Potter music and many other magical surprises throughout the night.
