Northwest BachFest begins February 26



The 40th Annual Northwest Bach Festival, with Zuill Bailey, Artistic Director, will begin 14 days of musical excitement with Festival Classics Concerts, Twilight Tour Concerts, a Special Festival Event on Don Quixote, Flash-Bach! appearances, a Festival Grand Celebration Event and a grand finale concert at St. John's Cathedral and more. The Festival begins on Monday, February 26 and continues through Sunday, March 11 at a variety of Spokane venues.

The Festival opening concert is Tuesday, February 27 at 7:30pm with the Grammy-winning Ying String Quartet and 2017 Triple-Grammy winning Zuill Bailey, cello, performing. Concert will be at Barrister Winery, 1213 W. Railroad Ave.

Spokane Home & Yard Show coming Feb 22-25



The 40th Annual Spokane Home & Yard Show will be at the Spokane Fair & Expo Center this Thursday, February 22 through Sunday, February 25. This year's show will feature hundreds of displays and demonstrations offering the latest in home and yard related products, services and improvements.
Hours are Thursday & Friday noon-8pm, Saturday 10am-7pm, and Sunday 10am-5pm. Admission is $8 for adults, cash only, good all weekend. Children 12 and under, free. Thursday is 2 for 1 day, two adult admissions for the price of one.

Spokane Symphony Classics concert this weekend



The Spokane Symphony celebrates Vienna - City of Dreams with 2 performances this Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, February 25 at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox. Eckart Preu, conductor, will lead the Spokane Symphony performing works by J.S.Bach, Johann Nepomuk Hummel, Mark O'Connor, and Franz Schubert. Musical guest is the Ahn Trio, pictured above.

Spokane Golf & Travel Show this weekend



The Spokane Golf and Travel Show is in its 20th year and has evolved into the largest consumer golf and travel show in the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene region. The 100+ exhibitors represent golf retailers, golf manufacturers, golf travel, PGA quick tip instruction, a Demo Area, Putting Contests, Long Drive Contests, Travel & Golf give-a-ways, Junior Golf, Show Only Deals and much more.

This year's show is this Saturday & Sunday, February 24-25 at the Spokane Convention Center. Hours are Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm.

Spokane Public Radio Record Sale this weekend

Spokane Public Radio's Annual Record Sale is this Saturday & Sunday, February 24-25 at the Spokane Valley Event Center, 10514 E Sprague. Hours are Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 11am-5pm. They will have a great variety of records, CDs, DVDs, tapes and more and will be holding a silent auction filled with classic equipment of every kind.
