Spokane's Cork District Holiday Wine Fest is this weekend



Spokane's Cork District Holiday Wine Fest is the premier wine event of the Fall in the region. This three day event starts this Friday, November 17 and continues through Sunday, November 19. Twenty winery locations are open from noon to 5pm each day. Most are open longer hours. The Holiday Wine Fest is a great time to explore the local, regional and national award winning wines available right here in Spokane. In addition to the great wines, many of the tasting rooms will have new releases, food pairings, music and art.

Ten Tenors and Tower of Power coming to the Fox in 2018



Fox Presents two of the world's most popular and well-loved groups in the spring: The TEN Tenors from Australia, fresh off the success of their 20th Anniversary World Tour, will perform their new show in Spokane on March 22, 2018 at 7:30pm, and Tower of Power, the urban soul horn band from the San Francisco Bay Area, stops here on their 50th Anniversary Tour on April 3, 2018 at 7:30pm. Both concerts take place at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox.

Tickets for The Ten Tenors and Tower of Power go on sale tomorrow, November 16 at 12:01am online at www.foxtheaterspokane.com, and at all TicketsWest outlets. Tickets are also available at the Box Office, which opens at 10am, or by calling 509-624-1200.


River Park Square kicks off the Holiday Season



This Friday, November 17, River Park Square invites the community in welcoming Santa Claus back to Spokane for the holiday season with two of his reindeer in training. There will be free hot chocolate and face painting beginning at 6pm. The CYT Spokane's Christmas Quartets will entertain the crowd with a performance beginning at 6:30, and St. Nick will arrive with the help of a little holiday magic for the annual tree lighting ceremony at 7.

Reindeer have arrived at River Park Square today, November 15, and are ready for visitors. Santa's arrival and the tree lighting ceremony begin at 6pm on Friday. Santa will be available for pictures until 9pm following the tree lighting. A reindeer handler will be on site the evening of Santa's arrival for pictures and reindeer petting opportunities from 5-8pm.


Comedy for a Cause at Northern Quest Friday



Comedy for a Cause: Hope and Help for Kids in Foster Care is 7:30pm this Friday, November 17 at Northern Quest. Comedienne and best-selling author Deanna Davis, stars in this benefit for three local nonprofit organizations, serving kids in foster care.

Winter Jam coming to the Arena this Sunday



Winter Jam 2017, Christian Music's Largest Annual Music Tour, comes to the Spokane Arena this Sunday, November 19 at 6pm. Grammy award winning hip-hop trailblazer LaCrae leads a lineup of top Christian artists. No tickets. $15 donation at the door.

Custer's Christmas Arts & Crafts Show this weekend



This year's show will run this Friday through Sunday, November 17-19 at the Spokane Fair & Expo Center, with over 300 artisans from across the Northwest, displaying and selling fine art, hand crafts, jewelry, seasonal decor, specialty foods and more.

Hours are Friday 10am-8pm, Saturday 9am-6pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm. Admission is $7 for adults, good all weekend. Children 12 and under are free. For more information, visit the website at www.custershows.com.
