Spokane Symphony Classics Concert this weekend



This Saturday and Sunday, October 7 & 8, the Spokane Symphony presents Classics 2, featuring works by Beethoven & Dvorak at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox. Morihiko Nakahara conducts and guest pianist is Ran Dank.

Selections include: Dai Fujikura, Banitza Groove!, Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4, and Dvorak's Symphony No. 6. Performance times are Saturday at 8pm, and Sunday at 3pm.

Custer's Antique & Collectors Sale this weekend

Custer's 42nd annual Fall Antique & Collectors Sale is this Friday through Sunday, October 6-8 at the Spokane Fair & Expo Center. Over 100 dealers from across the west coast will be selling thousands of unique items, from rare to retro, including kitchenware, industrial, mid-century, primitives, estate and costume jewelry, vintage clothing, folk art, glassware and much more. Show hours are Friday 4-9pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm. Admission is $6 for adults, kids 12 and under, free.

Oktoberfest at Arbor Crest this weekend



This Saturday and Sunday, October 7 & 8, Arbor Crest will be celebrating Oktoberfest from noon-5pm both days at the Cliff House Estate. This is the 3rd annual Oktoberfest and there will be lots of wine, festival beer from Square wheel brewing, German food, live music, games and more. Grand Avenue will perform on Saturday from 1-4pm, and PB & Jam featuring Pamela Benton will play on Sunday from 1-4. Admission is free.

Spokane Craft Beer & Cookies Fest coming Oct 14



The 5th Annual Spokane Craft Beer & Cookie Fest is Saturday, October 14 from 4-7pm in the Girl Scout Program Center at 1404 N. Ash Street. Ten breweries will be there pairing their great craft beers with iconic Girl Scout cookies. All proceeds from this event go back to Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho.
