Fun Raiser for Breast Cancer Research



The Ron Reed Music Project, with some of Spokane's finest musicians team up with the American Cancer Society's Real Men Wear Pink group for a benefit show at the Bing, 7pm on Wednesday, October 12. Spokane Symphony Classics Concert this Weekend

Music Director Eckart Preu and the Spokane Symphony takes concertgoers on an stunning exploration of music created under the northern lights of Iceland, Finland and Russia on Saturday, October 8 at 8pm and Sunday, October 9 at 3pm at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. The journey begins with excerpts from Valgeir Sigurosson's score for Dreamland, an award-winning Icelandic documentary film released in 2009. Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2, filled with amazing piano effects and lush orchestration, featuring virtuoso pianist Inon Barnatan. The concert concludes with Sibelius' Symphony No. 5, featuring his soaring transcendent swan theme.

Fireside Music at Arbor Crest starts Oct 6

After a very successful summer season of live music, The Cliff House at Arbor Crest will continue with live music as their Fireside Music Series kicks off this week. Taking place in the Arbor Crest wine bar, performances will run every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5:30-7:30. No cover charge. Wine, beer and snacks available for purchase.

It's a new beginning for a beautiful art deco club, The RESERVE at 120 N. Wall. Tomorrow, Thursday, October 6 they have Safar, a rhythmic band with a fantastic belly dancing trio. Friday, October 7 the Step Brothers, a funk and soul band, and Saturday, October 8 Gladhammer, an 80s rock band. Looking into the future RESERVE will feature Cowgirls and Cocktails Ladies Night on Thursdays with Garrett Barkley and The Ryan Larsen Band. The weekends will feature Fat Lady, Cattywomp, Charlie Butts and the Filter Tips, Hot Club of Spokane, Soul Proprietor, Milonga and many more. They also have a once a month 70s-80s Disco Party.
