Pat Schilling photo chosen for John Wayne Birthplace Museum

After 6 months of off and on negotiations, photographer Pat Schilling finally can announce that one of his images of Monument Valley will be reproduced as a large mural at the John Wayne Birthplace Museum in Iowa. After their internet search of thousands of images, the Museum felt Schilling's photo had the look and feel they were looking for to represent John Wayne's connection to Monument Valley. So much so, that when they discovered that his original 35mm slide did not have enough resolution for the 10x30 feet wall it was planned for, they still bought the rights to use his image as a photorealistic painting instead.
