Spokane Symphony opens their Super Sonic Season with Silver & Garburg



The Spokane Symphony opens their Super Sonic season this Saturday night, September 20 at 8 and Sunday, September 21 at 3, at the Martin Woldson Theatre at the Fox and it promised to be doubly fun! The Symphony welcomes back the internationally acclaimed Silver-Garburg Piano Duo, playing two piano concertos. Children's Renaissance Faire at Manito Park Saturday



The Friends of Manito present a Children's Renaissance Faire this Saturday, September 20 from 11 am to 3 pm in Manito Park, East of Duncan Garden on Tekoa street. It is put on by Spokane Renaissance Faire, Spokane Art School and Mobius. The event has many activities for kids including face painting, balloon twisting, catapults, art science and lots of fun! 'Neil Simon's Broadway Bound' is at Interplayers through this Saturday. Simon, America's King of Comedy, penned this funny and heart-warming follow up to 'Brighton Beach Memoirs.' This time Eugene and older brother Stanley are trying to break into the world of show business while coping with their eternally volatile family. Laugh for the Cure October 2



As we head into fall, the Eastern Washington Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is hard at work. And with October quickly approaching, The mission of Komen, 'to save lives and end breast cancer forever...' is important, more so than ever. October is nationally-regarded as Breast Cancer Awareness Month and you are invited to attend Komen's new fall event: 'Laugh for the Cure' at 6 pm on October 2nd at the Lincoln Center with headliner Gabriel Rutledge.

Gonzaga Student Body Association Presents Gloriana concert Sept 18



Country band Gloriana will be performing this Thursday, September 18 at GU's McCarthey Athletic Center, after finishing a successful summer touring with Rascal Flatts. Local band Cathedral Pearls will be opening for Gloriana. Doors open at 7pm, music begins at 8pm.
