Enjoy the classic 1942 film 'Casablanca' starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, this Saturday, February 15 at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox. Morihiko Nakahara will be conducting the Spokane Symphony performing Max Steiner's Oscar-nominiated score, played live.

It will be a Starry Starry Night this Saturday




Don McLean takes the stage at Northern Quest this Saturday night, February 15 at 7:30. He is one of America's most enduring singer-songwriters and is forever associated with his classic hits 'American Pie' and 'Vincent (Starry Starry Night)'. Since first hitting the charts in 1971, Don has amassed over 40 gold and platinum records world wide and, in 2004, was inducted into the Songwriters' Hall of Fame. Spokane Auto Show this Weekend




The 2014 Spokane International Auto Show is the largest gathering of new cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs in the Inland Northwest. 27 auto manufacturers will be exhibiting the latest in automotive technology at the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center. See what's new for 2014 and beyond.

Show dates and times are Friday, February 14 from 10am to 8pm; Saturday, February 15 from 9am to 8pm; and Sunday, February 16 from 10am to 6pm. Big Heart Dinner & Dance Fundraiser on Valentine's Day




Red Lion Templin's Hotel on the River Post Falls/Coeur d'Alene, KXLY's Mark Peterson, Emmett Paul Snyders Foundation, American Childhood Cancer Organization Inland Northwest and Encore Events & Presentations have joined forces to create a Valentine's Day celebration that unites guests as one 'Big Heart'.

Enjoy an exciting Valentine's Day celebration that includes a 3-course meal by Templins' culinary staff and dancing the night away with live entertainment by the one and only Sammy Eubanks. Doors open at 6pm and dinner will be served at 7:00. You'll have a chance to purchase raffle tickets for incredible prize packages and will have access to signature Valentine drinks at the no host bar.

Although there will be no program at the event, all proceeds will benefit the Emmet Paul Snyders Foundation and American Childhood Cancer Organization Inland Northwest. The American Childhood Cancer Organization of the Inland Northwest (ACCOIN), give direct care to local children and their families who have been affected by cancer by providing emotional, financial, and educational support. Their mission is to educate, support, serve, and advocate for families of children with cancer, survivors of childhood cancer, and the professionals who care for them.

The 2014 Spokane Golf Show is February 15 and 16

The 16th Annual Spokane Golf & Travel Show is this weekend Saturday & Sunday, February 15 and 16 in the Spokane Convention Center. Show hours are Saturday 9 to 5pm and Sunday 10 to 4pm. Every adult paid admission will receive a two free rounds of golf, one free round of golf from Spokane's Fairways Golf Course and another round from a variety of courses including; Priest Lake, Columbia Point, Bryden Canyon, Redstone, Cascade, Chewelah, The Links and Colfax.

The show has grown from 20,000 square feet of exhibit space in 2011 to over 45,000 square feet of golf goodies to explore. Area courses and golf vacations ideas from throughout the Northwest will be present. For the first time Hawaii and Mesquite golf have joined the show. The Spokane Golf Show will feature plenty of vacation prizes. Fun, activities and bargains for all ages.

KPBX Recordings & Video Sale this Weekend

The annual KPBX Recordings & Video Sale returns to the Lincoln Center, this Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, February 16. This year's sale features thousands of gently used LPs, CDs, 45s, DVDs, and VHS movies, many hard to find collector's items.

Sale hours are from 9am to 5pm Saturday, and 11am to 5pm on Sunday. Admission, parking, and refreshments are free and the Lincoln Center is handicap accessible. On Sunday, free live music will be performed by the Hot Club of Spokane from 12 to 3pm. Additional items for sale include 45s, CDs, cassette tapes, DVDs, books on tape, and reasonably-priced stereo equipment, including turntables, tuners, speakers, and cabinets. Patrick Klausen, SPR's production director, will spin tunes throughout the sale, showcasing the wide variety of merchandise and taking requests from shoppers.

The KPBX Recordings & Videos Sale serves as a vital fundraiser for SPR stations KPBX, KSFC, and KPBZ, which together, act as the Inland Northwest's source for NPR, BBC, and local news and a variety of national and local music programs, and family events that promote the arts in the region.

NW Bach Festival begins February 25

Connoisseur Concerts presents the 2014 Northwest Bach Festival with Artistic Director Zuill Bailey. The Festival runs from February 25 through March 9 and will be a 12-day celebration of excellent music and events.

The Festival begins on Tuesday, February 25 at Barrister Winery from 6-7pm and continues through Sunday, March 9.

Twilight tours of Bach Suites will be held in Historic Landmarks including the Elizabethan Room at the Davenport Hotel, Patsy Clark's Mansion, The Bing Crosby Theater, and more. The Festival Finale on March 9 starts at 3pm, and features and Artistic Director Zuill Bailey on cello and Lara Downes on piano at St. John's Cathedral on the South Hill.

Lots of entertainment this weekend at the new venue, The Bartlett




Spokane band, Mon Cheri will reunite this Saturday night, February 15 at 8 pm for a special performance on the stage at the Bartlett, 228 West Sprague. Bristol will join them for a perfectly sweet (post) Valentine's show. Then on Sunday, February 16 at 8 the girl punk/blues duo, The Pack AD are back. This show will be a blast with The Static Tones opening. Monday night, February 17 at 8 World Champion spoken word artist, Buddy Wakefield shares a night of poetry performance. Festival of Hymns at St. John's Cathedral

On Sunday, February 16 at 4pm, an interfaith choir from multiple Spokane churches plus local choral groups will join the Cathedral Choir for a choral celebration of the season of Epiphany. Following the elements of Evensong, the Anglican service for-prayer at the end of the day, the Festival will begin with the premiere of 'Paean on Two Hymns for Epiphany for Brass and Organ,' written by James K Holmes, composer, organist and member of the Cathedral Choir. Mr Holmes will also conduct the massed choirs throughout the service.
