Long time Coeur d'Alene artists Allen and Mary Dee Dodge are the featured artists this month at the Art Spirit Gallery, 415 Sherman in downtown Coeur d'Alene. There is an artists reception Friday evening, October 11 from 5 to 8 pm.
And this Saturday, October 12 from 1 to 4 pm, The Art Spirit Gallery sponsors 'Art in the Making' as 13 regional artists draw, paint and sculpt from two live models in the atrium of the Plaza Shops at 210 Sherman Avenue in Coeur d'Alene.

'Anything Goes' the musical at the INB through Sunday
One of the greatest musicals in theater history, Cole Porter's first-class musical comedy has sailed into Spokane, starring critically-acclaimed actress Rachel York as Reno Sweeney and directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall.

Beyond Pink celebrates its 4th year helping women battle against breast cancer
This Friday, October 11, the runway will fill with models, local designers will show off their best, and hundreds will turn out to support Beyond Pink - a designer bra fashion show with proceeds going towards women who cannot afford thermography. To date, the charity has helped over 200 women in the battle against breast disease, a number not lost on those behind this event's success.
Hosted by KXLY's Mark Peterson and Kristi Gorenson, this year's theme is 'The Most Fun You Can Have Saving a Life.' The event is this Friday, October 11th, at the Spokane Convention Center. Tickets can be purchased in advance at BeyondPink.net. Last year's auction brought in over $20,000 to be used in the battle against breast cancer, with even more donated items and fashionable bras available this year.
Murder at the Bing
'Murder at the Bing' is a unique performance this Friday night, October 11 at 7:30 and 10 pm. There is nothing like death, to make the spectacular new additions and dark old spaces of this historic theater take on a 'life' of their own. Don't miss this unique tour where you, the audience, tries to solve murder as you move through the building. It's 1926 again, at the Clemmer Theater, at a 'make or break' vaudeville performance. William Webster opens a new restaurant
Restaurateur William Webster, who developed Zola, Isabella's and Geno's is opening a new place tomorrow, Webster's Saloon at 1914 N. Monroe, in the former Working Class Hero's location.
Webster's Saloon offers a full bar with signature cocktails and a menu featuring a variety of delicious smoked dishes like smoked steamed clams, smoked sandwiches, salads and unique appetizers.

Spokane Symphony Welcomes Zuill this weekend
This Saturday, October 12 at 8pm and Sunday, October 13 at 3pm The Spokane Symphony with conductor Eckart Preu, welcomes Cellist superstar Zuill Bailey at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox. He will perform two great cello concertos - Schumann's Cello Concerto and Tchaikovsky's Rococo Variation.
Bailey is considered one of the premier cellists in the world, and this concert marks the first time he has performed with the Spokane Symphony. Bailey will also give a master class at the theater on Friday, October 11 at 3 pm. The master class is free and open to the public.

35th Annual Spokane Fall Home Idea Show this weekend
The 35th Annual Fall Home Idea Show will be held, Friday, October 11th through Sunday, October 13th at the Spokane Fair & Expo Center. The Home Idea Show is the last major consumer home show of the year and is focused on building, renovation, landscaping, design and decor.
This year's show has over 300 booths showcasing the latest products and services for the Home Inside and Out.
