Mozart at Manito



Connoisseur Concerts presents the 21st annual Mozart On A Summer's Eve, two concerts Tuesday, July 19 at 7:00pm and Wednesday, July 20 at 7:00pm on the lawn east of Duncan Gardens in Manito Park. Tickets are $25 per person for table seating that includes dessert and coffee from Luna. Lawn seating (dessert, coffee not included) is $10 a person. Tickets available through www.ticketswest.com or 800-325-SEAT. Table and Lawn seating available starting at 5:30pm. So pack your picnic basket and come down to enjoy one of Spokane's best concerts!


The work of artist Sandra J. Ayars

Come celebrate the life and work of the late Sandy Ayars, an SFCC graduate and lifelong artist and graphic designer who passed away on January 14, 2011. The show is at the SFCC Fine Arts Gallery, Building 6, 3410 W. Fort George Wright Drive. The show runs through July 28. Summer gallery hours are Monday-Thursday from 10am - 2pm. Price: Free. This Saturday, July 9 Ron's Drive-Inn at 12502 E. Sprague will host a Hot Rod show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and a burger eating contest beginning at 2 p.m. Cash prizes will be awarded. Proceeds will benefit Spokane Valley Meals on Wheels.

More great music at the Park Bench

The music continues this week at the Park Bench Cafe in Manito Park. On Wednesdays starting today, Project Joy, a Quartet will perform from noon to 1pm and will play each Wednesday at that time through August 10.

Also at the Park Bench this Friday, July 8 Paul Grove performs on the classical guitar. Music is from 5:30 to 7:30pm and the Park Bench Cafe has regular menu items available.

An Evening Under the Stars with Spokane Public Radio

Billy Currington concert moved to Knitting Factory

The Billy Currington concert scheduled for Thursday, July 21 at the Spokane Arena has been moved to the Knitting Factory Concert House due to logistical reasons. All previously purchased tickets will be honored at the Knitting Factory Concert House in Spokane. Buddy's coming back

'Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story' Rock 'n' Roll Musical returns to the Spokane Civic Theatre stage July 22-31. The cast and crew of last season's hit production will reunite once again to bring you all of the same Rock 'n' Roll fun. It's time to RAVE ON!

They've taken crab fishing from the Bering Sea to the small screen, and now Captain Sig and the Hillstrand Brothers are docking their boats and hitting the road.
